I love experimenting with different ingredients and flavors to make my meals more exciting and delicious. It's amazing how a few simple additions can completely transform a dish. I can't wait for you to try this rendition of my garlic mashed potatoes with a little hint of Kyvan's Savory Chicken Seasoning.
Ingredients
Vegetarian ( Serves 6-8 people)
Produce
5 lbs of Yukon Gold Potatoes
7 cloves of Garlic
Baking & Spices
1 tsp Salt (more, if desired)
1 ½ tsp Cracked Black Pepper (more, if desired)
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 tbsp Kyvan's Savory Chicken Seasoning
Liquids
Water for boiling (1" above potatoes)
Dairy
¼ cup Heavy Cream
3 tbsp Butter
4 tbsp Cream Cheese
3 tbsp Sour Cream
Directions
Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot.
While the water is boiling, wash and cut the unpeeled Yukon Gold Potatoes into quarters. Add the Potatoes and peeled Garlic Cloves. Boil for about 15- 20 minutes or until the potatoes are tender. The Potatoes are done when you can easily pierce a fork.
Remove the Potatoes and Garlic from the heat and strain.
Add in the Butter, Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Salt, Black Pepper, Garlic Powder, and Kyvan Savory Chicken Seasoning. Use a potato masher and blend the ingredients until fully incorporated.
Serve the potatoes in a cute dish and top with a little more Kyvan Savory Chicken seasoning before serving.
Now you have something cooked from the SOUL. Serve it to the CULTURE!
