CRIMSON & CREAMY Cajun Chicken and Sausage Pasta
This ultimate spicy and savory chicken and sausage pasta has the perfect kick without the fuss of high-fat ingredients such as pork sausage. With the use of turkey sausage, chicken, and an array of specially blended spices this dish is flavor-packed and sure to fill up your family. In honor of my illustrious sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated, I wanted to bring out the crimson and cream in this recipe with the use of Red Bell Peppers, Yellow Bell Peppers, and m

Tuscan Lentil Soup
I love Mediterranean food and I wanted a nice soup to bring out my favorite flavors. This hearty soup can be made with or without meat. It will still have a wonderful flavor and delicious broth. It’s all about the lentils being a good source of protein anyway. With this recipe you will have plenty of leftovers or be able to feed a large family. #Souplovers #TuscanLentil #FamilyDinner Ingredients (Serves 6-8 people) Meat & Protein Hot Italian Sausage Links (3) Mild Italian Sa

Chicken Philly Pasta
This recipe came about because I wanted a Chicken Philly, but I was out of french bread or rolls. I definitely didn't feel like going to the store so I just turned the recipe into a pasta dish. The sauce was inspired by my Spinach Artichoke Dip found in the When I Dip, You Dip section. Enjoy having a cream white sauce without having to use Heavy Cream! Have fun and be creative in the kitchen. Please don't be afraid to take chances. I hope you guys enjoy this dish! #pastalover

Southern Pan-Fried Pork Chops
Now this isn't the healthiest recipe, but it is a delicious cheat meal. This is a no fuss meal where you don't need eggs or milk. I learned this Southern classic from my mother and grandmother. It was a Sunday Dinner staple after a long day in church. It's an extremely simple recipe, but so fulfilling and flavorful. Pork chops are cheap, so if you buy a pack split it up in Ziploc bags and freeze the extras. You only need four for this recipe unless you are cooking for a large

Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Garlic Mashed Potatoes are delicious enough to serve as a holiday side, but easy enough to make on any quick weeknight dinner. You will not love the carbs, but you will adore the flavor. So the next Thanksgiving when you're stuck bringing the drinks, because you family isn't quite sure if you can cook, make these potatoes and shut them up. I bet you they will ask for more. #Youaretoooldtobringjustnapkins #smashedpotatoes #familydinner #holidaysides Ingredients Vegetarian ( S

Spicy Zuppa Toscana Soup
It seemed like every "Let's go out to eat" moment with my Line Sisters in college led to us ending up at Olive Garden. There was always one soup that stood out and it inspired this recipe. Every time I make it for my family it's finished quickly. I made my own version adding Leeks and various other meats. When I finally got it right I settled on this version. My fiance and I also made this delicious soup for our Ugly Christmas Sweater Engagement Party. #CopyCatOliveGarden #Z

Chicken Bacon Pasta in a Creamy Spinach and Tomato Sauce
My fiancé and I created this dish for our Ugly Christmas Sweater Engagement Party. (Yes, we catered our own Engagement Party. It was challenging, yet rewarding.) We had a plethora of pasta dishes, but this was one of the night's favorites. Since it was so delicious we decided to cook it again just a week later. This is a great dish for a cozy family dinner or a romantic night with one or two bottles of wine.😊 The creamy pasta paired with the salty bacon brings a burst of fla
