Homemade Air Fryer Fries

Updated: Feb 16, 2021

You can have the crunchy goodness of a fast food fries with less grease and more healthiness. These fries are crunchy and crispy and ready in just minutes. Please make sure to read your Air Fryer Instructions before choosing the oil you use. I would love to use the more healthier Olive Oil, but my Ninja Foodie Grill/Air Fryer specifically states not to. These are easy enough to have to for a quick lunch or dinner. Follow this recipe and you will be in food heaven in no time.

Ingredients

Vegetarian (Serves 3-4 people)

Produce

2 Russet Potatoes

Baking & Spices

1 tsp Salt (more, if desired)

1 tsp Cracked Black Pepper (more, if desired)

1 tsp Paprika

Liquids

Water

Oil & Vinegars

2 tbsp Vegetable or Canola Oil

Tools

Mandolin Cutter (If you don't have one, you can definitely just cut the potatoes by hand.)

Directions

  1. Cut you potatoes into 1/2 inch strips.

  2. Soak the potatoes in cold water for 20-30 minutes.

  3. Rinse the potatoes one more time and dry with paper towels.

  4. Toss the potatoes in 1 tbsp of Vegetable of Canola Oil, Salt, Pepper, and Paprika.

  5. Cook in your Air Fryer on 390 degrees for 15-20 minutes. (Tip: I like to stop and shake my crisper basket every 5-7 minutes. This makes sure the fries are cooking cooking through and not sticking together.)

  6. Serve and eat with any of your favorite sauce. 😋😋

Now you have something cooked from the SOUL. Serve it to the CULTURE!
